Manufacturing Millennial Jake Hall to Keynote Plenary Session at Best Practices 2026 EXPO & Conference

Jake Hall, known as the Manufacturing Millennial, will keynote the Plenary Session of the Best Practices 2026 EXPO & Conference in Indianapolis. His presentation, “The Future of Manufacturing,” takes place Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and is open to all attendees.

Hall is an advocate for manufacturing, automation and skilled trades. With an audience of 120,000 followers and over 250 million views on his content, he drives discussions on manufacturing and automation that help engage both current and future workers.

In “The Future of Manufacturing,” Hall will address the workforce and operational pressures facing manufacturers, including retirements, production demands, energy challenges and the need to optimize core plant utilities such as compressed air and chilled water. He will outline how companies can adopt new technologies – AI, digitization, automation and robotics – to strengthen reliability and engage the next generation of workers entering the industry. Hall started his manufacturing career at the age of 15, working for a custom machine builder sweeping floors, cleaning CNC machines and learning to weld. He later earned a degree in Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Grand Valley State University. Hall spent the next 10 years working in automation distribution and systems integration around robotics, machine vision, motion control, digital software and smart manufacturing. He launched the Manufacturing Millennial in 2023 and now delivers keynotes at events around the world advocating for manufacturing.
