Edwards Launches New EIIF Series Industrial Inlet Filters

Edwards announced it has launched the EIIF Series of industrial inlet filters for applications such as metallurgy, heat treatment, thermal processing, vacuum coating, chemical and PET processing, or any application requiring upstream pump protection.

Developed in the USA, the Edwards EIIF filters protect vacuum equipment and the environments in which they operate from the harshest processes.  Constructed of Carbon or stainless steel and helium leak tested to 1X10-4 mbar/l/sec or better, the EIIF is an intricate piece of engineering built to the exacting standards and quality that Edwards is recognized for.

“The EIIF series is made to cover most particulate removal applications found in the industrial vacuum marketplace,” commented David Sobiegray, Product Manager, Industrial Vacuum Division, while speaking on Edwards’ latest product offering. “Our aim with the EIIF is to reduce customers’ down time and ultimate pump protection and maintenance requirements.  The EIIF series enables Edwards to offer a complete application and pumping solution from our extensive vacuum product portfolio.”

Available in straight-through and right-angle configurations, the EIIF series has second-to-none contaminant handling capabilities. The product housings may be used in a variety of flange configurations with multiple media pack options to handle the most challenging applications.

Speaking on the versatility of the EIIF, Bob Campbell, Vice President, Industrial Vacuum North America commented, “We wanted to offer our customer base a technology that would give them peace of mind in their day-to-day.  We now have a solution that will not only protect process output and uptime but increase cost effectiveness.”

The EIIF Industrial Inlet Filter range is suited for a wide range of operational vacuum levels, flow and pump inlet connection sizes.  Contact an Edwards engineer to discuss process requirements when harsh chemicals or extreme processing conditions exist.
